Agriculture and food are central factors of sustainable development

 

Arguments to the theme of sustainability are certainly agriculture and food, factors on which the survival and wellbeing of the peoples depend.
Production, new technologies, use and recycling of water, renewable energy at the service of agriculture, are fundamental elements of environmental and human sustainability and of the circular economy.
In collaboration with the Embassy of Romania and Assicurazioni Generali, Diplomatia has promoted an event on this topic which will be attended by important actors in the agricultural and food sector and numerous other interlocutors of interest.
In addition to the landlord, the Ambassador of Romania George Bologan, Giancarlo Fancel, President of Genagricola, took part in the panel; Paolo Cuccia, President of the Gambero Rosso; Federico Grazioli, President of Agriconsulting; Enrico Giovannini, Spokesperson of the Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development (ASviS), the promoter of the Sustainability Festival.
In fact, our event has been included among the numerous initiatives within the Festival - in its second edition - which took place on the national territory from 22 May to 7 June with the aim of spreading the culture of sustainability and mobilizing Italy for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda.
